Olgica’s Story
1993
The Beginning of a Chess Journey
At the age of 5, Olgica learned to play chess, laying the foundation for her future career in the world of chess.
1996
First Cadet National Chess Championship
The first Cadet National Chess Championship in the ex-Yugoslavia. She was the youngest player and scored 3.5/9, participating in the U10 group. This marked the beginning of her competitive chess journey, which continues to this day.
2005 & 2006
European Chess Championships
Represented Serbia at the European Chess Championships, showcasing her skills on an international stage and gaining valuable experience against top European players.
2007
Best Female Athlete of the Year in Beočin Municipality
Awarded the prestigious title of Best Athlete of the Year in the Beočin municipality, representing the chess club for which she played on the youth board.
2011
Scholarship and Degree in Business Economics and Entrepreneurship
Received a scholarship as a chess player and earned a degree in Business Economics and Entrepreneurship, broadening her academic and professional horizons.
2014
Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computing
Earned a degree as a professional engineer in Software and Information Technologies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, adding a new professional dimension to her toolbelt.
2015
Title of National Chess Arbiter
Olgica obtained the title of National Chess Arbiter, expanding her contributions to the chess community.
2022
Certified Positive Intelligence Coach
Became a certified Positive Intelligence (PQ) coach, combining her passion for chess with empowering mental and emotional strength. This marks a new direction in her career, focusing on chess classes for children and developing positive intelligence through the game.
